Project Scheme

In the Project we organize an active team of excellent researchers who aim to open new horizons in molecular reaction dynamics studies and conduct advanced studies systematically by developing new methodologies of time- and space-resolved measurements of chemical reactions of inhomogeneous systems and elucidating their reaction dynamics by applying the developed methods.

The targets are single living cells, solid-liquid interfaces, catalysts, and molecular crystals, and their reactions processes will be directly measured in the time domain and accompanying micro-structural changes will be observed and analyzed.

The methodologies clarifying reactions not only in the time domain but also as a function of position will be summarized and the knowledge obtained in the studies will be integrated to understand new reaction dynamics in inhomogeneous molecular systems, which will contribute not only to chemistry but also to scientific instrumentation, and materials and life sciences.
